Legal Updates
1. How versions work
All sip.io legal documents share one version number, the date it was published (for example 2026-11-06). Each document shows its version and effective date at the top. When you sign up, we record the version you accepted, the time and the IP address you accepted from.
2. How we tell you about changes
- Material changes (changes that reduce your rights or increase your obligations, such as new fees, a lower liability cap or a new subprocessor) are announced by email to your account owner and in the console at least 30 days before they take effect. Subprocessor changes follow the notice period in the Data Processing Addendum.
- Non-material changes (clarifications, corrections, formatting, new contact details) take effect when published and are listed below.
- Changes required by law, a regulator or a carrier may take effect sooner if the law or the carrier requires it. We will tell you as early as we can.
If you do not agree to a material change, you may close your account before it takes effect and receive a refund of your unused prepaid balance as described in the Terms of Service. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the new version. We may ask you to accept a new version again in the console.
